McVitie’s Snickers Digestives: The Ultimate Biscuit

A Major Brand Crossover

This is a big one. A design for McVitie’s Snickers Digestives combines two of the most recognisable brands in the UK snack market. The mockup shows the classic McVitie’s Digestive tube pack, but rendered in the unmistakable brown, red and blue of a Snickers wrapper. The familiar McVitie’s logo sits alongside the bold Snickers wordmark.

The image itself suggests a standard milk chocolate Digestive, but with the added texture of peanut and nougat pieces embedded in the chocolate topping. The original social media post accompanying the image kept it simple, asking: “Snickers Digestives! The ultimate biscuit collab?” It’s a compelling question. This wouldn’t be a simple flavouring. It would be a complete textural reinvention of the biscuit top.

McVitie’s History of Collaboration

While a partnership with Mars Inc. on this scale would be new territory, McVitie’s has a solid history of working with other confectionery brands. This is not a company that sticks rigidly to its own lane. The most direct comparison currently in its range is the McVitie’s Milky Way Cake Bar, another product that borrows branding from a Mars stablemate. It shows a precedent for collaboration exists.

The company also constantly reworks its own intellectual property into new formats. The Jaffa Cake, for instance, has been spun out into Jaffa Cookies and even Jaffa Digestives. They are comfortable playing with the formula. It’s a core part of the business model. Bringing another brand’s flavour profile into the flagship Digestive line, however, would be a significant escalation of that strategy.

What the real range looks like

The current McVitie’s biscuit range includes several core lines like Ginger Nuts, Rich Tea Classic and Fruit Shortcake biscuits. Within the Digestive family, the standard milk chocolate version is sold alongside White Digestives and the caramel-flavoured Gold Digestive Biscuits. A Snickers version would represent the first time the Digestive has been co-branded with an external confectionery line.
