A Cinema Staple Reimagined
The Tango Ice Blast is a fixture of the UK cinema experience. Its distinct, neon-swirled mix of cherry and raspberry slush is almost as essential as the film itself. A new design concept takes this flavour profile and applies it to another frozen staple: the Magnum.
The mockup shows a classic three-pack multipack box, rendered in the vibrant blue and red of the iconic drink. The branding is unmistakable. On the box, the Magnum itself is shown with its thick chocolate shell cracked to reveal a similarly swirled red and blue ice cream interior. It’s a bold pairing. Two very different treats combined.
The Magnum Freezer Range
Magnum’s current strategy in UK supermarkets is a mix of established favourites and careful innovation. The brand maintains a powerful core range that includes the Magnum Classic, Magnum White Chocolate, and Magnum Almond. These are the mainstays.
Alongside them sit slightly more ambitious flavours. You can find Magnum Mint, Salted Caramel, and even a Pistachio variant. The idea belongs to a popular family of mockups: the drinks-brand crossover. Putting a well-known soft drink flavour into a chocolate or snack format is a common theme. But while a flavour like Tango Ice Blast works naturally as a sorbet or ice lolly, containing it within a dairy ice cream and a chocolate shell is a significant proposition. It places a notoriously sharp, tangy flavour profile into a product known for its creamy, smooth texture.
What the real range looks like
The current Magnum range in UK shops includes Classic, Almond, White Chocolate, Mint, Salted Caramel, Pistachio, Double Raspberry, and Signature Peach. A Tango Ice Blast flavour would be a significant departure, being the first to directly adapt a carbonated soft drink brand.
