A Familiar Jar, A New Colour
It’s one of the most recognisable shapes in the supermarket aisle. The stout, curved Nutella jar is an icon, and this mockup concept changes very little about its form factor. The proposal is for a standard 400g glass jar, complete with the familiar white lid.
The innovation is all on the label. Where the classic design features black ‘nutella’ text on a white background, this version flips the palette. The brand name is rendered in a creamy white, sitting above a small ‘bianca’ subtitle. The background panel, usually a block of solid chocolate-brown, is swapped for a matching off-white shade, suggesting the colour of the spread within. The red logo remains untouched. It’s a simple, effective piece of design that looks entirely plausible.
An Expanding Nutella Universe
While a white chocolate hazelnut spread isn’t a new idea, one from Ferrero under the Nutella brand would be a significant development. For decades, the company focused solely on the original spread, but in recent years the brand has expanded into completely new categories. This is no longer a one-product operation.
The chilled and ambient aisles now contain a whole family of spin-offs. There are multiple biscuit formats, from the crunchy Nutella B Ready bars to the Nutella Biscuits sold in tubes and multipacks. The freezer cabinet has also seen activity, with the launch of a Nutella Chocolate Hazelnut Ice Cream Tub and even a pack of Bake At Home Frozen Croissants. More telling, however, is the arrival of Nutella Plant Based. This demonstrates a willingness to alter the core spread’s recipe for a new audience. A white version would follow a similar logic, offering a direct flavour alternative to the original rather than a new biscuit or pastry format.
What the real range looks like
The current Nutella UK range is much wider than just the classic jar. It now includes Nutella B Ready biscuits, biscuit tubes and multipacks, an ice cream tub, and even frozen croissants. The closest parallel to this concept is the Nutella Plant Based spread, which alters the core recipe. A white hazelnut version would be the first major flavour innovation for the spread itself in the UK.

Frequently asked questions
- What is Nutella Bianca?
- Nutella Bianca is a concept for a white hazelnut version of the famous spread. The mockup shows the product in the brand’s classic 400g jar, with a revised label to reflect the white chocolate and hazelnut flavour profile.
- Does Ferrero make a white Nutella?
- No, Ferrero does not officially produce or sell a white chocolate version of Nutella for general sale in the UK. While other confectionery brands have created white chocolate hazelnut spreads, a ‘Nutella Bianca’ remains a purely conceptual idea.
- Is Nutella Bianca White Hazelnut spread real?
- No, this is a Snackfish. It’s a mockup created by the design page UK Snack Attack to imagine what the product might look like. It is not a real product from Ferrero and is not sold anywhere.
